The best tasting mint ice cream is made with mint leaves, not flavorings. We steep locally grown mojito and peppermint in our ice cream base to infuse the whole flavor of the mint leaf. We round out the mint complexity with a tiny dash of peppermint extract. What you get is a fresh, floral and herbaceous real backyard mint flavor instead of the mass produced toothpaste-y variety you find in most grocery stores.
